How We Work

HOPE counsellors offer a safe, calm, supportive environment.

We use an Integrative method of counselling which combines the approaches of Person centred, Psychodynamic,  Cognitive Behaviour Therapies (CBT), and Solution Focused Therapy. This combination of approaches enables us to tailor the sessions to suit our clients' needs at each stage of their journey.

More Info

HOPE counsellors are all trained to Diploma level or are students in the final stages of their training, and receive ongoing supervision according to the guidelines of their accrediting body, either BACP (The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) or COSCA (Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland).
